Plot[]
This is a webseries, created by RickNowTV, lasted for 16 friggin seasons. Well, these "seasons" did not run through a year each, so take it for what it is. The series also either did not have the accounted number of episodes, or a lot of it is missing media, what I doubt. So it is a found footage thing, supposedly youtubering This Guy's paranormal encounters. Each episode is very short, so while in essence this is a ghost haunting show, it's only the "juicy stuff".
Has almost nothing to do with Amityville. The locations are unidentifiable, and yes, there are multpile locations for this, at least for the first season it does. Does not tell if he left the city, what is according to the video-descriptions is Amityville. Nothing indicates within the footage though, the city being Amityville. Neither as the real life location, or any props. Well, all the way until Season 3 "episode 19", where a disclaimer-card is inserted into the video naming Amityville within the video. Season 4 even shows him at location, live! I did not expect that tbh. Season 4 is too where the supposed series-title is coming from, as you can see it too.
In season 1 the numbering is continuous, and we visit like 3 locations, and at random, we even get a hitchiker ghost too. For season 2, we get this The Ring-girl (Samara, was it?) in all 4 "remaining" videos.
In season 3 he starts doing seanses: ouija board, tarot-reading, whatnot.
Season 5-8 is experimentig with ideas, and the ghosts starting to causing real harm. Season 9, and even before, the effects fade out of the series, and starting with
Season 9 there's not even season this episode that anymore, but raw episode numbering. "Episode 44" is greatlybreaking immersion, as the repairmean FROM SEASONS AGO comes back for his toolbox. What was it, 5 years? More? But "season 10" is not without some craft still, a new ghost is establishe after hichiker guy and Ringu Guhrl: the neighbour woman with the missing cat, who comes to talk, gets out of frame, and with that disappears.
With season 11 we move out of the house again, supposedly to Eaurope - but then why the asian writing? Anyway, the theme here is, the ghosts are now following the dude outside his house. The season ends on a cliffhanger, promising a spiritist/exorcist coming to the apartment, and the promise of finding out why are the haunting.
He spends most of season 13 in Italy, where his uncle's house is retconned to be.
In "season 15" we finaly get the promised paranormal investigator, or something. Counts in my book. Better than nothing. Do we get an explanation though? Of course not.
Most of this show is whacking around the bush. Hah. In the end it turned out, the guy glues the shorts into a feature length (91 minutes) sorta-kinda found footage movie. Even then, this thing went pretty much nowhere, and the channel started to drop out stuff like UFOs landing and Shin Godzilla walking in the garden. Feels like I wasted my time for not getting a "and then he moved out", or a "and then he died" card.
