Mrs. Townsend was the realtor that sold the Lutz's the house in Amityville.
History[]
She had actively lowered the price for the house by the time the Lutz had seen a newspaper ad for it. Even while showing the house and giving a tour, Mrs. Townsend was shown to be spooked by it. She actively was trying to avoid anything "questionable". Ultimately, even after she told them the reason for the price being so low was the murders of the DeFeo Family, they still wanted it. She can be seen a few minutes later trying to do paperwork in the kitchen and finding the papers wanting to blow off the table and feeling like she was being watched. She left deciding to do the papers elsewhere.
