Father Delaney was a priest for a local church in Amityville area.
History[]
He visited the house a bit after the Lutz's moved in. Missing them he thought after walking around the house searching for them, he was on the second floor getting ready to bless the room when flies started to appear in the room, a sign of death. He tried to continue but the flies kept on getting worse. The door to the room opens and then the flies buzzing gets quiet before hearing "Get Out", and he hesitated and then the voice shouts "Get Out!". He then flees the room, and showing signs of being sick as he gets out the front door, getting to his car and looking terribly nauseous. He left without seeing the family.
Later he tried to call them and the phone was getting interference before his hand got burned by the phone. Later, Kathy Lutz tries to call him, Father Bolen picks it up and informs her he isn't feeling well, probably a flu thing. Later, Bolen was driving Delaney, when all the sudden the car lost control with the steeringaiming them at oncoming traffic. Ultimately, they crashed in a housing construction sign. A fly then appeared in the window of the car after the crash. Two days later, he met with Father Ryan Father Nuncio at his parsonage and basically told him that he was disillusion, and finally told him that he needs to take a vacation.
