Amityville: Mt. Misery Road is a 2018 American supernatural partialy-found footage horror film, Chuck Morrongiello and Karolina Morrongiello's vanity project.
Summary[]
Something, something, indians. If you remember, in the 2005 remake the House was used to be a native amrican re-educating facility. As the story of this film's goes, in 1653 the Matnecock Indian Tribe sold some cursed land to the white people, who built an asylum for insane natives there, which burnt down. This also means, this movie has absolutely no relation to the House, the city of Amityville, or the Amityville story.
Charlie and Buzi are going on a trip to Mt. Misery despite the rumours of deadly ghosts (hellhound, mothman, ghost/owlman, Crazy Mary. Halfway through the movie they even arrive at location. They get lost, and Charlie disappears for undisclosed reasons. Then Buzi runs into the forest, never to be seen again. In the end some Loner in the Woods finds their camera, but is immediately attacked by Crazy Mary.
